Living Sacrifice é uma banda de death/thrash metal formada no ano de 1989 em Little Rock, Arkansas, EUA. Posteriormente mudaram seu estilo para metalcore e foram considerados umas da mais influentes bandas no cenário do White Metal (Metal Cristão).

yeah, its about the riffs. if you reject a band because of their message you seem to be close-minded imo. i dont listen to black metal, because i dont like how it sounds, not because of the lyrics. some of my fav bands dont really have a positive (christian oriented) message. just open your mind, music is music.

People are tagging them as Christian, not Last.Fm. That said, anyone who cares about lyrics is a retard; its all about the riffs.

i really think the "christian" tags hurt Christian bands on Last.FM... for all those who do not like christian music will miss out on an awesome band just because of that tag. if they did not see that tag, they might like Living Sacrifice and maybe even be witnessed to in the process. i really wish Last.FM would stopping tagging music as "christian" so the bands can get a broader scope of listeners.

I'm not bagging on them or anything, their one of my favorite bands, but metalheadAdam7 has a good point, if you remember, slipknot was pretty much "the band" when the hammering process came out (Slayer opened up for freakin slipknot, how lame is that, most of you may be religious, but from a musicians standpoint, slipknot doesn't even comp with slayer). LS added the extra percussionist. It's one of my favorite albums of all time, but you can't ignore the similarities. On the other hand, we tend to sound like the bands we're influenced the most by, I'm guilty of it myself in fact. .

i like their older stuff up to hammering process, it was like their own style of metaL, now they sound like they are trying to fit into a genre, that's what draws me aqway from most christian metal is that they all try to fit in, be unique and different, Jesus didn't try to blend in

they say the new album comes out late this year, and yes the rough mix of overkill exposure is sick! and according to bandsonfire.com the new album is going to be titled "in your face, devil!" what a come it will be! can't wait.. well judging by the fact that they've released a demo from the album on the T&N/SS sampler for Fuel I would say the album will come out this year, but maybe not, it might not be until early next year
