yeah indeed. it would be even cooler if they actually would start working on a new re-make album imo (where they would record old & unreleased song such as period, junk, dream is over etc) and also a real version of SEXUAL PARVASION, it would be hilarious lol. However a new album sounds much more refreshing, the other idea would just be fun, especially for us who never heard these songs.

Yes, LUNACY is a decent album, atleast much better then SHINE. SHINE is really the only album of theirs I can say that I do not approve of.

all their albums are great, just perhaps shine least great. It's a really good album as well with some hits but also a few boring/less remarkable moments especially towards the end. I'm glad they made lunacy afterwards to end with a better mark, a more subdued but amazing album. Favorites in order: mother, style, image, lunacy. Eden and Luna Sea I really like, but both have a few songs that don't excite me too much.

First two? For me, LUNA SEA, IMAGE, EDEN & MOTHER are probably some of the most solid vk releases from the 90's, along with as mentioned below Kuroyume's Mayoeru Yuritachi and some other releases. However I do like STYLE alot as well, but after that they kinda lost it imo... unfortunately.

For some reason everytime someone mentioned Luna Sea rerecorded I thought they were referring to the Period version of Precious, which was probably Ryuichi's worst moment vocally. The 2011 ver. is... decent, actually.

The first four albums are the best (even if I prefer rerecorded self-titled), the rest is decent (SHINE's pretty much the worst album for me, especially considering the fact that the weakest LS songs like Broken or Up To You are there)

ISICKFACE - perhaps i agree with you IMAGE is one of the most beautiful art-work of them =] BTW the 1st album i heard of them) about 10years ago....It's 10years left...... So yeah, I'm one of them who prefer their early period atmosphere, cuz I think alternative-type like album "LUNACY" much less Independent than IMAGE or LUNA SEA(though technically that album(very 1st)) was terrible, but we have re-recorded ver!)

Yes, I really agree regarding SUSPICIOUS and SEARCH FOR REASON, together they are super amazing. And yes, IMAGE is kinda underrated album, for me it's easy top 2 behind MOTHER. It's a perfect release. :)

IMAGE's songs work better in live quality (SEARCH FOR REASON for instance should have had "Suspicious" tied to it for an outstanding epicness, like in their early lives and the most recent Lunacy gig + MOON sounds awesome when played live with an extended ambient intro)
