Wed 21 Oct – White Lies, Darker My Love

Surely White Lies can be called the revelation of 2009. It's gone very quickly for this band from Ealing, West London. Formed in October 2007, England became to know the band in early 2008. This year it seems the band is popping everywhere they're able to play. They already did Amsterdam in January, when they played The Milkyway with a more sober stage then they did this evening in the Paradiso.

Darker My Love opened the evening, and although by some times their music, a mixture of sixties mercy beat and Kula Shaker, is enjoyable, it seemed the mix was done in a rush and with less channels to work with.
