• System Morgue "Feu"

    Jul 28 2014, 7h45 por Zhelezobeton

Feu is the first CD of the Moscow-based project System Morgue which has been active since 2006 and released one cassette Hekatombaion (2010, heliophagia), as well as plenty of web-releases. In its early period the project relied on aggressive and pushing sound in vein of harsh noise and power electronics, but later changed to milder sonorities and finally came to the now traditional form of guitar .

Using only guitar and bass as sound sources as well as a chain of effects, the man behind this project - Peter L. - has created five compositions the mood of which varies from uneasy, slightly distorted soundscapes to gentle enshrouding harmonics. The lingering of vibrating strings, rare accents of psychedelic chords, slow semi-melodic loops - everything that a real connoisseur of dark meditative music needs. The album is inspired by the literary works of Ilya Masodov and Charles Baudelaire.

  • Kshatriy "s/t"

    Abr 23 2014, 10h09 por Zhelezobeton

During the 10 years of its existence Kshatriy has earned a strong reputation on the Russian dark ambient scene. Among his works are 3 full-length CDs on our label Muzyka Voln, collaboration releases with Vresnit and Bardoseneticcubeand also several tracks on compilations including the recently released LP "Drone-Mind // Mind-Drone Vol. 3" (Drone Records, 2014).

This recording is the first finished studio material recorded by Sergey Uak-Kib in 2005. Initially it was released by the author himself as a small CD-R edition, all copies of which were quickly spread between friends and collectors. This year the album was taken out of the archives, remixed and remastered and we are pleased to introduce it to your attention in a renewed form.

Cold, dark and empty cosmic-scale spaces turn into rare oases of living pulsations but this illusion of immersion in organic matter doesn't last long and dissolves in endless flows of sonic winds. …
  • Corvuz "Невидимые пейзажи" (Invisible Landscapes)

    Abr 5 2013, 18h45 por Zhelezobeton

The debut album of a musician from the city of Oryol, Russia, released with the support of Zhelezobeton label. "Invisible Landscapes" is dark ambient recorded with a typical Russian approach combining homage to native traditions, deeply melancholic contemplation and powerful thirst for the beyond. Dark red embers, twilight, wind sways over tree crowns, lost eyesight of the consciousness wandering in forest labyrinths and gradually dissolving in the infinite circle of life and death... Rich sound of Soviet analogue synthesizers, a bit of field recordings, voice samples and digital processing - this is the pallette used for creating this image. It feels that the music of Curvuz is inspired by the project Staruha Mha, a cover-version of its track rounds up the album. The album was mastered by Sergey Uak-Kib (Kshatriy), artwork performed by Sergey Ilchuk (Siyanie, ex-Vetvei & Vresnit Art).

  • Kshatriy "From Heart to Heart"

    Fev 28 2013, 20h17 por Zhelezobeton

Kshatriy pleases his fans with a regularity of his musical experiences and Muzyka Voln label gladly presents his third CD-album From Heart to Heart. Many reviewers referred Kshatriy's previous works to space dark ambient and the new album also has a cosmogonic feel to its musical images. This time everything takes place in utterly deep space, in the immense emptiness that contains the whole world.

Swinging on slow waves which shimmer in all possible colours we contemplate monumental galactic metamorphoses. Slowly unwinding are the tight spirals of synthesizer drone, rhythmic patterns pulsate and emotional melodies are cut with rare flashes of voice samples. Smoothly flows the sound, charged with energy, transmitting the experience of self-awareness from the musician to the listener... from heart to heart.

  • Kshatriy "Transforming Galaxy"

    Mar 16 2012, 22h50 por Zhelezobeton

"Transforming Galaxy" is the second full-length album of Sergey Bulychyov (aka Uak-Kib) from Vsevolozhsk, Russia - an imprint of direct experience of the Universe. The album is dedicated to the end of Kali-Yuga - the age of technocratic lack of spirituality and moral decay - and to the attainment of human awareness of the Unity.

Eight hasteless compositions of psychedelic drone ambient combine a light atmosphere with deep multilayerness, crystal clear sound transparency with mild and sometimes uneasy melodies. Soft organic tracks full of plangent drones, noises and natural recordings neighbor with dense and saturated hymns to Hindu goddess Kali. The disk is closed by a beautiful lyrical composition reminding us that the best way to overcome ignorance and realize unity is Love.

The album is released in a glossy 6-panel digipak with front cover by Sergey Ilchuk (Siyanie, ex-Vetvei & Vresnit Art).

  • Kshatriy "Slepok Soznaniya"

    Out 13 2009, 10h50 por Zhelezobeton

The project Kshatriy appeared on the Russian post-industrial scene in 2004 and up to present has participated in several compilations, as well as released some solo and collaboration recordings on limited edition CDRs. Muzyka Voln presents the project’s first "professional" compact disk with the album "Slepok Sonzaniya" (meaning "a mould of consciousness" in Russian).

This work is based on the concept of consciousness of a warrior, a galactic warrior of light, bringing to world pure knowledge, infinite silence, perfect balance, a moment of power and might, a flight of freedom, love, serenity, joy, light, unified time, eternal life, simplicity and bliss.

The music of the project can be described as fractal dark drone ambient with lots of patterns, woven from various sonic fibres: synthesized drones, processed field recordings, acoustic echoes and rhythmic loops. Calm and profound, filled with resilience and hidden power, like an endless ocean of tranquility, energy and beauty.
