I agree with the people saying the releases have different vibes to them. " A World Through Dead Eyes" sounds much more bleak and ancient. It reminds me of Xasthur or Leviathan a bit. The song writing and production styles are different. It's Pretty much all mid paced. "The Haunting Presence" Is cleaner, has quite a bit of tempo changes in some of the songs, and though it still has a dark atmosphere and edge, it doesn't at all sound the same as the prior releases. I've seen people say that "The Haunting Presence" is his album which is most musically accessible, and I agree. The Older albums have that style that's an acquired taste. Just like Xasthur and Leviathan, you either love it, or find it boring. I'm a big fan of this project myself. Can't wait for the new album!
