Recently I hit '1300' artists in my library, so I thought I'd make a list of them all for posterity! Of course, I already removed one of those artists frmo my library during this process (it was my music, but under the wrong name...) and there are others I can probably get rid of immediately. But I want to take care in doing so.

Anyway, without further ado...this is the result of coming on up 5 years of scrobbling here at Last.fm, and away from it (on iPod). There have been times when I wasn't able to scrobble, so a lot of data wasn't recorded then. But other than those times, this is what we have...

Paaszondag 12 april 2009. A Camp, het jongste project van Cardigans frontvrouw Nina Persson, treedt op in muziekcentrum Trix, Antwerpen. Voorband: de al even Zweedse Kristofer Åström en zijn drie gitaren. De naam van deze kerel, nochtans geen onbekende in muziekland, bleek iets te moeilijk te spellen om op de affiches te mogen, hijzelf net iets te onzeker om er het onvergetelijke optreden van te maken dat niemand van een voorband verwacht. Maar toch hing er iets in de lucht. Gezien de datum werd spontaan aan de Paasklokken gedacht, maar ik vond dit gegeven toch wat verder onderzoek waard.
Na het optreden verkocht A Camp t-shirts en signeerde cd’s, Nina Persson mocht met haar goddelijke glimlach op de ene foto na de andere. Kristofer Åström stond te glimlachen in een hoekje, naast de tafel van waarop enkele exemplaren van zijn nieuwste album Sinkadus, pas verschenen op acht april, voor het eerst de niet-Scandinavische wereld inkeken. wejście było od 19, ja byłam o 18.40. aż do supportu o 20.00 sala była prawie pusta, tylko ja i 5 innych wariatów. słowo o supporcie - Kristofer Astrom. podobno nagrał 8 płyt, w Polsce pierwszy raz o nim usłyszałam, gdy sprawdzałam, kto supportuje Ninę, jakieś 3 dni przed wyjazdem. a szkoda! bo świetny był do tego całkiem good-looking zagrał 7-8 piosenek, głównie on i gitara - albo akustyczna albo elektyrczna. pomagał sobie również harmonijką, na 2 piosenki dołączyła do niego keyboardzistka A Camp. zdawał sobie sprawę, że w Polsce jest wcale nieznany, ale fajnie mu to wyszło. tak sobie myślę, że jego piosenki świetnie nadawałyby się na soundtracki do seriali typu "Jezioro Marzeń" czy "Skins". a że ja się na takich filmach wychowałam, to oczywiście mi się podobało.

Auf dem Rückweg vom Luxor lief bei Einslive das Kassettendeck, zusammengestellt von der wundervollen Tagesschau-Sprecherin Judith Rakers. Und irgendwie war diese Sendung die perfekte Fortsetzung meines Abends. Denn auch vorher bei A Camp übertünchte die charmante und hinreißende weibliche Hauptdarstellerin die ein oder andere musikalische Schwäche. Ich sollte aber anders anfangen...

Meine Motivation, zu Konzerten zu gehen, besteht in der Regel aus zwei Komponenten, der Liebe zu einer Band oder meiner musikalischen Neugierde. Meist ist der emotionale Faktor der größere, heute war es ausschließlich der Wunsch, Musiker kennenzulernen, denn sowohl A Camp als auch Kristofer Åström kannte ich bisher nur theoretisch. Aber ein schwedischer Singer/Songwriter und eine schwedische Indiepop-Band kann man ja ohne jegliches Risiko ansehen...

Das Luxor war entgegen meiner Erwartung nur mäßig voll. Vor der Tür sah es noch aus, als wäre der Club ausverkauft. …
