  • My Official Gig of 2009

    Dez 6 2009, 0h10 por mentalinfest

Well, I've now been to the last gig I had lined up for this year. So what have I been to this year?

    Static X
    Sevendust
Bloodstock (bands I enjoyed being Katatonia, Anathema, Moonspell and Sanctorum)
Prog Nation (bands I enjoyed being Opeth, Dream Theater and Bigelf)
    Editors
    Mew
    Yes
    The Enemy
    Joe Bonamassa

It's not been that much of a metal year for me since moving back to Scotland.

So I've seen Opeth (my faves <3), Katatonia (who I've been waiting to see since the Last Fair Deal Tour back in god knows how long ago...), Anathema (who I'd been waiting since when I got into them back in 98/99 to see), Dream Theater (who blew me away and converted me to becoming a fan) and Joe Bonamassa (who is GOD).

But none of them won it for me. All amazing performances. However, the band who won it for me were:

    MEW!

They just totally blew me away! I was so impressed by the fact Jonas could reach those high notes, the vocal harmonies were mind blowing, and the visuals they had were awesome. I couldn't fault them, other than them not playing my favourite song... Seriously amazing performance from them, just... Nah I don't have words, they were absolutely mind blowing!!!

    1. What are you listening to right now?
Stolen Babies by the bucket load.

    2. What song makes you sad?
I prefer music that invokes innumerable emotions.

    3. What is the most annoying song in the world?
Lady GaGa - TocarBad Romance, but I am addicted nonetheless. As for songs I don't actually enjoy, TocarAlejandro, anything oshare kei (shouldn't it be "osare kei", anyway?) or by Basshunter and JLS.

    4. Your all time favorite band?
    D'espairsRay

    5. Your newly discovered band is?
Because I can't think of any, I rediscovered VAST. Oh! Callisto.

    6. Best female voice?
Anneke van Giersbergen (ex-The Gathering, Agua de Annique), Hatis Noit (夢中夢), Marcela Bovio (ex-Elfonía, Stream of Passion), Astrid van der Veen (Ambeon), Annlouice Loegdlund (Diablo Swing Orchestra), Tori Amos, Kate Bush and 黒猫 (陰陽座).

    7. Best male voice?
HIZUMI of D'espairsRay, of course. For proof of talent and range, refer to 凍える夜に咲いた花, 月の記憶-fallen-, Tainted World vs. Garnet, PIG and DESERT. There's no denying his skill. He has an impeccable falsetto, and he can alternate between it, chanting, frenetic shouting and demonic growls.

He is followed closely Jonas Renkse of Katatonia. David Sylvian (Japan), Carmelo Orlando (Novembre), Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree), Mikael Åkerfeldt (Opeth), 眞呼 (Deadman), and Daniel Håkansson (Diablo Swing Orchestra).

    8. Music type you find yourself listening to most?
Everything. I grew up on classical music, classic (and British) rock, new wave and pop, I've retained my love for those as I've aged. But the music I discovered of my own accord, when I was a young girl, is metal. And there's so much of it that I simply cannot get enough! Once you start listening to metal and its legions of subgenres, there's no turning back.

Overall, I will listen to anything that's thrown at me. I love shoegaze, gothic rock, electronica, progressive rock, sludge, experimental, psychedelic, trip hop, an embarrassing amount of music that's in the charts. Everything. But metal is where it's at. From the progressive, avant-garde, the doom, the gothic, the symphonic, the heavy, the thrash, industrial, power, melodic death, atmospheric, ambient black metal. I'm spoilt for choice.

The only stuff I'm not too fond of is nu-metal and MySpace metalcore. And hip hop. I'm not the biggest fan of a lot of black metal, either, but elements of it is fine.

    9. What do you listen to to hype you up?
    アベルとカイン, drum 'n' bass.

    10. What do you listen to to calm down?
    Anything soft, ambient.

    11. Last concert you went to?
I went to see Katatonia and Symphony Cult in Leeds.

    12. Band you find yourself listening to the most right now?
Novembre and Stolen Babies. D'espairsRay always.

    13. Most hated band?
Hate is too strong a term but... 98% of visual kei is dreadful. I dislike oshare kei, too. They give Japanese music a bad name, in my opinion.

    14. Song that makes you think?
    Most of them.

    15. Band that you think the world should love as much as you do?
    YOTANGOR?

    16. Coolest music videos?
I love Deadman's music videos. Other than that, I don't watch them much.

    17. Music video with the most babe watch?
That's obviously Katatonia's TocarDay and Then the Shade . JK THE GIRLS IN THAT VIDEO ARE HIDEOUS. Why do people like it?

    18. What do you play/would you play in the bedroom to spice things up?
    dp_anal_porn.mp3

    19. Can you play a musical instrument?
The piano. I took singing lessons and was in the choir for years, so I can sing but I'd need practice to be as good as I might have once been. I want to learn how to play the bass.

    20. Ever been in a mosh pit?
Elbowed in the face in one, I was almost blinded. :(

    21. Are you in a band?
I cover hip hop songs with an expensive keyboard and my brother, but that's not a band. That's stupidity.

    22. If yes, what kind of music does your band play?
Piano covers of 50 Cent songs, yo. No, for real. Hip hop parody. No artist is exempt.

    23. Ever dated a musician?
    None worthy of mention.

    24. If yes, what kind of music did he/she/they play/instrument/band?
    He was a shitty guitarist.

    25. If no, would you consider?
    I guess so.

    26. Do you wish yourself that you were a musician?
Not really, I couldn't handle fame or pressure.

    27. Best chick band you know of?
    All female? None.

    28. Best guy band you know of?
    D'espairsRay is my favourite.

    29. Last song that you heard on radio/cd?
I don't listen to the radio!

    30. What do you think of classical music?
    Good?

    31. What do you think of Country music?
It can be fun, especially when you're camping in a grassy knoll by the beach, steaming drunk and bellowing country classics at the top of your lungs.

    32. What do you think of Death metal?
I hate that a hefty portion of the artist pictures are black and fucking white. Fuck.

    33. Last BIG band that you saw live?
BIG? Bon Jovi, when I was thirteen. Hurr.

    34. Do you listen to music in foreign languages?
    Yes.

    35. What famous musician do you find sexy?
    Hm. Not many!

    36. Worst concert moment?
Twisted my ankle at The Prodigy.

    37. Funny Concert moment?
    As above.

    38. Sad Concert moment?
    As above.

    39. Best local act you can think of?
WHAT. I live in Whitby. The only local band I know of is a cover band.

    40. If you were a musical instrument what would you be?
    Bagpipes. Fuck yes.

    41. Do you listen to the radio?
    Nope.

    42. Do you watch music TV?
    Sometimes.

    43. Do you follow the music charts, like the top 40?
I have to, my siblings are pop fags. And there's never anything on the telly, anyway.

    44. Have you met any famous musicians?
Katatonia. I met Jon Tickle on a flight to London, but he's not a musician lolol. My mum briefly knew the vocalist of The Cult and my grandfather managed Smokie. One of them is my mum's godfather. But I've never met them myself.

    45. Are any of your friends/family etc musicians?
    Me and my brother are.

    46. Song that describes your life?
    I can't pick.

    47. Do you know the names of all the band members that you listen to?
    My favourites.

    48. Does a musician’s physical attractiveness play a role in the music that you listen to?
Not at all. I listen to some ugly bands.

    49. What famous musician do you want to marry?
    None.

    50. What do your parents listen to?
Dad's a rock 'n' roll junkie, 70s, 80s, 90s. Mum's taste in music evolves with what's popular. But it's because of her that I listen to Depeche Mode, David Sylvian and The Cult.

    51. What are you listening to right NOW?
    Ayreon

    52. Do you wear band T-shirts?
I bought Katatonia and The Gathering t-shirts but I never wear them. I do wear my D'espairsRay tour t-shirt, because it's actually cute. Baggy band tees on females aren't flattering unless they're wearing it, underwear and a bedhead. Nothing else. Then it's sexy.

    53. What do you think of people who do?
They can wear whatever they want.

    54. What music sub-culture do you feel like you belong to?
    Probably the 80s glam/sleaze.

    55. What song is stuck in your head right now?
Every time my brother plays Rock Band, I have TocarBlack Hole Sun leeching at my brain. I seriously hear it while I sleep.

    56. Do you sing in the shower?
    Yes.

    57. If so, what? If not, why not?
I make up songs in the shower.

    58. What is in your walkman/discman right now?
I have an iPod. And all of the music needs to be erased from it for re-organising.

    59. Sex, Drugs and Rock n Roll, you dig?
    Mm, yes.

    60. Do you cook to music?
    I'd set the kitchen alight.

    Is that it? Oh.

  • PODSUMOWANIE CAŁOROCZNE

    Dez 5 2009, 19h29 por domstank

1.Rammstein- Liebe Is Fur Alle Da.- Się naczekałem. Się doczekałem. Nie zawiedli mnie. Czy ktoś oczekiwał rewolucji? Ramm to marka sama w sobie.
2.Katatonia- Night Is The New Day.-Alkohol jest zły, fajki są złe. Katatonia to bardzo zły zespół. Bo uzależnia. Znowu będę miał problem by wymienić ulubiony kawałek! Ale chyba najczęściej The Promise Of Deceit, Liberation, Departer, Idle Blood, Onward Into Battle, Inheritance i Nephilim...
3.Converge-Axe To Fall- Rozpierducha taka że hej! Od Dark Horse do Slave Driver jazda bez trzymanki zmiksowana z melodią. Ale to końcówka decyduje o genialności albumu. Cruel Bloom (wiadomo dzięki wokaliście Neurosis) i Wretched World (tam z kolei gardłowy Genghis Tron). Dzieło zamknięte.
4.Isis-Wavering Radiant- Ta płyta wciąga bez reszty. Bezsprzecznie dla mnie ich najlepszy album! Ulubione momenty? Stone To Wake A Snake, Ghost Key i 20 Minutes/40 Years do którego powstał świetny klimatyczny teledysk.
5.Mastodon-Crack The Skye- Jaka nazwa taka płyta. Potężna. Na początku byłem rozczarowany, że tylko siedem kawałków. Ale to co się dzieje w takim Quintessence czy The Last Baron nie daje żadnych wątpliwości czy kawałków powinno być więcej.
6.Slayer-World Painted Blood- no kurde mam się o klasykach rozpisywać? Powiem tyle. Playing With Dolls, Human Strain, Americon. Perełki. Reszta błyszczy równie mocno.
7.Riverside-Anno Domini High Definition- Polska płyta roku. Z najlepszą wg mnie polską kompozycją w tym roku- Left Out. Byłem na koncercie w Olsztynie i było magicznie.
8.Pearl Jam-Backspacer-Najradośniejsza płyta w tym roku. Bezczelnie przebojowa. Krótka, nagrana z wyczuwalną pasją. Najlepsze momenty? Johnny Guitar, The End, The Fixer...
Rzecz jasna w momencie When Sun Drowns In Dark...
12.Muse-The Resistance- Jak zwykle ego Bellamy'ego dało o sobie znać . Jak zwykle wyje i zawodzi. Ale ja to wbrew pozorom lubię. Szczególnie w utworach Uprising, Unnatural Selection i MK Ultra
13.Rootwater-Visionism- Mixują co się da a efekt wyrzuca z butów. Szczególne w Timeless, The Ministry i Steiner. No i Haydamaka szalona jak Diabelski Młyn.
14.Placebo-Battle Of The Sun.- wygrali tą bitwę. Szczególnie za pomocą Bright Lights, For What It's Worth i Never-Ending Why. No i płyta bardziej pogodna niż poprzednie. Co czuć na odległość.
15.Enter Shikari-odkrycie roku. Miks hardcore z techno. Najlepsze kawałki to Gap In The Fence, Zzzonked, Juggernauts...

Z niecierpliwością oczekuję na nowe albumy Toola (wątpię że w przyszłym roku), Deftones(mam nadzieję, że Chi wyzdrowieje na dobre), The Dillinger Escape Plan (będzie! będzie! będzie!), Cult Of Luna(przydało by się coś na miarę Eternal Kingdom), Neurosis (coś na miarę Eye Of Every Storm a więc mojego ulubionego albumu). Chciałbym też by SOAD i SYL się reaktywowały bo przesuwały muzę do przodu. Skoro Fear Factory wraca z Cazaresem...

  • The year 2009 (work in progress)

    Dez 2 2009, 14h45 por RPGW

With less than a month to go until the end of all that is related to 2009, I decided to make a small start on the obligate yearlist(s) journal. So this is in no way final, a lot of things can still change
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you ask me what I think about 2009 in regards to music, I'd say it's one of the best years of the '00 years. The amount of high quality albums and gigs to remember is astonishing. And what better way to reminisce about this year than to make some cliché lists?

    The album top 10

Might as well start with the most clichéd list you can think of for these kinds of journals: the top 10 albums of 2009! And the most clichéd list is also one of the hardest this year, never before did I had so much trouble putting together a top 10. Especially the top 5 was hard. And because this is not the final version, it will keep changing, so expect a different list when I make this journal final.

So without further rambling, here it is.

    1. Ghost Brigade – Isolation Songs
Top 3 songs: Suffocated, Into the Black Light, A Storm Inside.

This album really took me by surprise. Based on the positive reviews I was expecting a good album. But an album this good? Never. The way they are able to blend the best elements of Neurosis and Katatonia together without sounding like a copy of both bands is a sign of talent.

    2. Epica - Design Your Universe
Top 3 songs: Kingdom of Heaven, Semblance of Liberty, Design Your Universe

I really didn't think they would top The Divine Conspiracy like this. Sure, based on the teasers and the 2 songs they released before the album came out I expected it to be better, but to blow their previous album out of the water like this was something I didn't see coming (and I think a lot of people weren't expecting it either)

    3. Anaal Nathrakh - In the Constellation of the Black Widow
Top 3 songs: Terror in the Mind of God, In the Constellation of the Black Widow, So Be It

Extreme, more extreme, Anaal Nathrakh. Every year they release an album the world gets another soundtrack for its ending. And it's not just extreme for the sake of being extreme. By using different elements in some of the songs they make sure their sound stays fresh and unique. One can only wonder what will happen on their next album. But for now I will stay loyal to this gem.

    4. Sólstafir - Köld
Top 3 songs: 78 Days in the Desert, She Destroys Again, Goddess of the Ages

I don't even know what to say about this album. This is one of those albums that you just can't explain; you have to listen to it to understand what makes it so special. So do that. Because I'm not going to try and make something up so I can put something interesting here, it's just not possible.

    5. Devin Townsend Project - Addicted
Top 3 songs: Awake!, Hyperdrive!, Resolve!

He's back! And he never lost his touch. After releasing the mellow, almost intimate Ki (good album, just didn't make the top 10), Addicted rocks my socks! The combined vocals of Devin and Anneke (ex-The Gathering, Agua de Annique) are catchy as hell and I was singing along to the songs after I listened to the album once. 10 amazing songs with a very slight hint of Strapping Young Lad, I love it!

    6. Katatonia - Night Is the New Day
Top 3 songs: Onward Into Battle, Departer, Inheritance

It pains me that I had to put this on the sixth place, because it's yet again an amazing album. But when the previous albums are better I have no choice. Katatonia released their best album with Night Is the New Day. It has all the elements that made their previous albums great albums combined with some new elements: multi-layered vocals, strings and a fantastic guest performance from Kristen Linder (Enter the Hunt), whose vocal contribution turns Departer into one of the bleakest songs Katatonia has ever written.

    7. Amorphis - Skyforger
Top 3 songs: Highest Star, Majestic Beast, From Earth I Rose

I lost sight of Amorphis a few years ago, but their performance at Summer Breeze earlier this year convinced me to get reacquainted with them. And it's a decission I will never regret. Skyforger is easily their best album with Tomi on vocals. Eclipse was fantastic, Silent Waters a small step back, but with Skyforger they are back with full force.

    8. Mastodon - Crack The Skye
Top 3 songs: The Last Baron, The Czar, Crack the Skye

You want a good summary of this album and the band itself? Listen to The Last Baron and you will know enough. From the passages that make you drift away like Pink Floyd are able to do to the freaky passages The Dillinger Escape Plan are known for. Mastodon has drawn the tin line between them. I never understood the amount the praise Leviathan got, it's good, but it was nowhere near as good as Remission. Crack the Skye on the other hand has surpassed that album.

    9. Dark Tranquillity - Where Death Is Most Alive
Top 3 songs: Insanity's Crescendo. Yesterworld/Punish My Heaven, Terminus (Where Death Is Most Alive)

My favorite band releasing my new favorite live-album? No surprises there. Dark Tranquillity just doesn't disappoint me. The setlist is perfect, the band is in its best shape and the audience is just as enthusiastic as they should be, they add a substantial amount of atmosphere to the performance.

    10. Kreator - Hordes of Chaos
Top 3 songs: To the Afterborn, Amok Run, Hordes of Chaos (A Necrologue for the Elite)

Four years after the highly acclaimed Enemy of God, Kreator still show no sign of losing quality. And for a band that's been around for as long as Kreator has that's a fantastic accomplishment. From the opening riff in Hordes of Chaos until the last tones in Demon Prince, there's no sign of any weak spots.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That's it for now, expect more lists in the days/weeks to come.

First, make a list of your top-20 artists overall. Then, for each of these artists, add the 8 most similar artists to your list. Delete any duplicates, count up the number of entries on your list and this will give you some idea of how eclectic your listening habits are. A score of 9 represents an extremely unvaried musical taste while a 160 represents an extremely varied one.

  • My Top 50

    Nov 29 2009, 9h26 por ShatteredFlame

Well I've been on last.fm for almost 2 years now and my taste has changed dramatically over time. Looking at my top 50 overall I'm really not happy with most of the artist on their. Partly because at first when I discovered a band I loved I would scrobble the shit out of them until they reached a high status on my charts. Nowadays I can't be bothered with how much I scrobble an artist because there's always so much other music I want to check out. So here I am at 2 am listening to Tom Waits wasting the night away writing about what I think about my top 50.
= Looks great on my charts
= I like them but I'm not for 100% in having them high in my charts
    = GTFO my charts.

    1. Tool
Took me a while for me to love them. Then when they finally grew on me they immediately became one of my favorite bands. All their albums are great even their live album Salival is something worth checking out. And with each album better than the last I can only imagine how amazing their next album will be since 10,000 Days was so perfect.

    2. The Cure
Immediately loved them when I first heard Disintegration. There early post-punk stuff is great but I think they hit they're peak with Disintegration. Weak was alright but everything after pretty much sucks. I still haven't checked out everything by them even with over 2000 scrobbles. They have so much material.

    3. Opeth
First checked out Still Life. Loved it. Then Damnation. Bored me, except TocarWindowpane. Like Tool it took me awhile before fully appreciating them. Now they've become one of my favorite bands.

    4. Pink Floyd
Yeah classic band. Darkside Of The Moon, The Wall, and Animals are all classics to me.

    5. A Perfect Circle
I don't really listen to them at all anymore. At first I was just a blind Tool fan loving Maynard's voice and his lyrics, now I think most lyrics are complete bullshit and appreciate artist for their musicianship. These guys are better than your average mainstream rock bands, some nice song writing that sets them apart from simply sounding generic. Tocar3 Libras will always be one of my favorite songs.

    6. Katatonia
I'm always an "on again off again" type of relationship with these guys. First heard The Great Cold Distance, loved it at first now I can barely sit through the whole thing. There other albums are the same, except Brave Murder Day which will always be their best. Overall, they have a lot of gems spread out in their albums, the best usually being bonus tracks and CD-singles.

    7. Celldweller
I used to listen to this guy all the time. Now I think he is pretty overrated. Being a part of the AMV community is really sickening because everyone considers this guy a genius, pretty much every single song is done to death. Why do people praise this guy for being a one man band? Like there isn't millions of other solo artist who also create great music. He has some great material but I wouldn't call anything he's done a masterpiece. Every song he has released lately has been solid but I really don't think he can create a great album. I'll take a great album over a great song any day.

    8. Puscifer
Actually checked him out before APC or Tool. Still love this project. V is for Vagina is a great album but I do think that it is very hit and miss. The stuff he has been putting out lately especially The Humbling River have got to be the best material released on here. I'm liking this new atmospheric direction.

    9. Rise Against
My favorite generic nostalgic band. I don't really listen to them at all anymore but I don't mind it when I do.

    10. Metallica
Really not sure how they got this high on my charts in the first place. I think they're classic albums for the most part are very overrated. Kill 'em All and ...And Justice for All are pretty good though. When Death Magnetic first released I loved it but since then I've gotten into a lot of other superior metal bands.

    11. Eminem
Yeah hes a guilty pleasure. Will always be.

    12. Devin Townsend
I completely love this guys work. His insanity is of my liking. Great musicianship. Addicted has also got to be one of my favorite 09 releases.

    13. Agalloch
These guys can't release a bad record. Everything they've done is great.

    14. King Crimson
Masters of Prog? Yeah In the Court of the Crimson King, Larks Tongue in Aspic and Red. are all essential for every prog lover.

    15. Shining
Checked these guys out when I read that fucked up description about their beliefs and live performances, I just had to hear how fucked up this was. I'm glad I did give them a listen. Besides being fucked up V: Halmstad has got to be one of the greatest pieces of music I have ever heard. Every track is mind blowing. I haven't really gave their earlier stuff much of a listen. VI: Klagopsalmer was awful though.

    16. Meshuggah
Didn't really want to check them out because how stupid their band pictures look. Chaosphere made me laugh, Jens Kidman sounded like a barking dog and the music just sucked. Catch-33 was a much better experience, their music was kind of annoying but I think that's what inevitably made them great for me....for some reason, don't really know how to describe my feelings toward them. They also became the headliners of the first concert I attended :).

    17. Infected Mushroom
First heard the song Artillery which was great. I didn't check out the full album until a long time after which I regret because Vicious Delicious is a damn satisfying album. I don't care about how pop it is compared to how magical their earlier albums are. Infected Popshroom > Infected Mushroom. Not too much of a fan of them, they're live performance was hands down the best I've been too. I also helped advertise for them in their fanmanager street team and won an autographed poster and CD :D.

    18. Amon Amarth
Twilight of the Thunder God unleashed my hidden craving for death metal. Now I think it's a pretty boring record. Metal gets old fast man.

    19. Jerry Goldsmith
Lol, short lived movie soundtrack craving.

    20. Angelspit
Addicting shit. Addicting when I first heard them. Still as addicting now. Even they're new release cleared my disappointment after a few listens. 2nd album has yet to grasp me.

    21. My Bloody Valentine
    Loveless

    22. Beastie Boys
Hell Yeah! Probably a guilty pleasure, isn't it?

    23. "Weird Al" Yankovic
    Another guilty pleasure, right?

    24. Nine Inch Nails
I never really liked them as much as I wanted to. All these scrobbles are a failed attempt for the most part. The Downward Spiral and The Fragile have some good songs but other than that I have never been able to see the magic.

    25. Linkin Park
    Angry generic emo shit.

    26. Joy Division
A truly great band. Ian Curtis wrote some wonderful songs. Lyrics are all fantastic. Simple but hold so much meaning.

    27. Ayreon
    Gets old after while.

    28. Mastodon
They're pretty good. Crack The Skye is such an overrated album it's ridiculous. Leviathan is great.

    29. Cynic
    Metal Gods!

    30. Tom Waits
    Absolute genius!

    31. maudlin of the Well
Fucking insane band. Toby Driver is a genius.

    32. Mindless Self Indulgence
Yeah I considered myself daring for listening to a band like this. They still have a few classics but I don't really listen to them anymore.

    33. Modest Mouse
Have some great songs but as albums go they tend to fade with time.

    34. John Carpenter
    Only around Halloween

    35. Scarling.
They are great...I haven't listened to them in a long time now

    36. Guns N' Roses
    Meh.

    37. Shpongle
Should be as high as Infected Mushroom. Great music.

    38. Porcupine Tree
I haven't really listened to many albums by them. I love Deadwing and Lightbulb Sun but most of the other stuff I've checked out is pretty boring.

    39. Astronautalis
Amazing artist. TocarBarrel Jumping (A Man Of Letters), The Waterfall and TocarThe Story of My Life all have got to be some of the greatest songs I've heard.

    40. Thousand Foot Krutch
    Generic Christian Rock

    41. System of a Down
    Such a faux pas

    42. Vader
They won't be relevant in a couple of months

    43. Have a Nice Life
Great album. Great bootleg demo album but recently I'm not feeling what I felt when I first listened months ago.

    44. ASHES dIVIDE
Wow something completely shot out of my life.

    45. Gojira
Metal that doesn't get boring. Great drumming also.

    46. J.Viewz
Local New York band. Chill out album. So great.

    47. Unwound
Leaves Turn Inside You is so great but like Have a Nice Life I think I'm growing out of this depressing shit.

    48. Dane Cook
Why did I have him to begin with? =(

    49. Bill Conti
Short lived Rocky soundtrack addiction. Still great but not something meant for heavy listening.

    50. Black Light Burns
I kind of forced myself to like them. They suck. Only New Hunger, Cruel Melody and Lucretia My Reflection are good.

Final Verdict: Only 23 out of 50 artist I am satisfied with =(
