Singer, cellist and prodigy by nature, the beautiful 19 years old Kanon Wakeshima is the newest protegee of Mana, produceer and musician of the japanese musical scene.
The japanese girl started her life in music woth only 3 years old, and from this day on her skills were delicately perfected with the baroque cello’s use, as well as participating in concerts. For at least 4 years the girl has been standing out as a vocalist on her own school, and soon as shw came across an oportunity os holding on to a professional musical career, by dedicating herself on a Sony Music’s test, Kanon didn’t blinked. Naturaly, she won de contest and she will launch on may 28th 2008 her first single named “Still Doll” – launched by Defstar Records –, and might as well be checked out on the close credits of the anime Vampire Knight, predicted to april 2008.
Anyway, Kanon’s sound is incisive and well arranged. And if she’s under Mana’s care, certainly she is of great expectations.
