First, it was quite the pleasant surprise to see Wendy Woo as an opener. She has always been a local favorite of mine and has always impressed. Once again, she was on the mark. How she has not become noted outside the Denver\Boulder area remains a mystery.
Justin Currie delivered exactly what was expected. Sweet, melodic songs with gentle humor mixed into his on stage banter. A little the same sounding (think Driving With The Brakes On 12 times in a row). But, his voice was perfect, instrumental work never faltered, all the hits were played, and the crowd went home happy. Whether I will remember any of this a week from now remains to be seen.
