As usual I listened to a lot of Madonna this year - particularly her latest album Hard Candy which was not as enjoyable as
Confessions on a Dancefloor but had a few great tracks namely 4 Minutes, Miles Away, Dance 2Night, Beat Goes On and Heartbeat. Overall it's a pretty forgettable album and hopefully she'll come up with something a bit more unique next time.
I got my third Tori Amos album this year Under the Pink which is great but Scarlet's walk will always get heavy rotation on Ory FM.
I haven't purchased Britney's latest album Circus but I loved Blackout which is a crazy good album. Break The Ice is my most played song ever on my itunes.

Standout artists from 6 - 20: Janet Jackson - I got her The Velvet Rope album to remind me of the good old days listening to that as a kid. That album has some awesome songs including Empty (which was amazing to listen to for the first time in almost 10 years), Together Again and Velvet Rope.
k-os is a great singer/songwriter and his Joyful Rebellion album has a few nice tracks - Crucial, Man I Used To Be, Crabbuckit and The Love Song. His adlib rapping, however, is awful.
Freshlyground released a lovely album late 2007 - Ma Cheri. Desire is beautful.
Beyonce is a DIVA and she rocks - even though I said some pretty negative things about her in my top 50 for 2007.... but I have since matured.

Standout artists from 21 - 49 : Rihanna (some great fluffy pop songs), Depeche Mode (Enjoy The Silence is unforgettable), Musiq, Seal (System is really amazing... I'm running out of adjectives), Ne-Yo, Michael Jackson (who doesn't like nostalgia?), Travis (Side is um... BON.), Tracy Chapman, The Cranberries (my sister's doing) and M.I.A.
