God bless the drum sound of the 70s. [2] This and Rainbow Rising are perfect in that regard.

The peak of their career, along with the surrounding two albums. Too bad metalheads are too dumb to realize it.

Love the drumming on here, and Simon Phillips was only a teenager ffs. And has one of the best cover songs of all time.

I prefer Stained Class, Rocka Rolla and Sad Wings to this. This ones a good album though.

Another great 70s Judas Priest album, the range of songs such as Sinner and Call for the Priest is something they'd never do again, and the Last Rose of Summer would indeed be the last rose of anything. The Diamonds And Rust cover is such a good mix between heavy rock and folksy music that even my mum likes it.

Wat? Les Binks is far better than Simon Phillips. Also Dissident Aggressor and Let Us Prey / Call for the Priest > Sinner and Starbreaker.

Blimey! I should've known Judas Priest 70s is way better than what came afterwards. This is a fantastic album.
