  • NIN in der Rockhal

    Jul 10 2009, 11h13 por LVRized

Thu 9 Jul – Nine Inch Nails, Mew

Darunter auch das von mir gern gehörte TocarSomething I Can Never Have.

  • New band "Infinite Birth"

    Jul 5 2009, 22h47 por magentaray

Our new band Infinite Birth has finally decided on a name and a bloody good one it is too! . We are pretty psychedelic and noise y. We are a bit less dark than my other band Blood Moon.

I would associate Infinite Birth with such bands as Sunburned Hand of the Man , Jackie-O Motherfucker , Can , Faust , Eternal Tapestry , Pram , Broadcast , Stereolab . We are, however a bit heavier and darker than most of the bands I've mentioned, and we have a raw punk or post-punk edge, as with Blood Moon . Artists like The Fall , Joy Division , Wire and This Heat are also a big influence on our sound. We are all big Sonic Youth lovers too and it shows...

I hope you'll have a listen and see what you think...

  • Top 50 quiz because I'm bored.

    Jul 5 2009, 9h46 por Idizzen

    1. What's your favorite song by 14? Morrissey
Ugh, this one is a real hard one :( He has released like a million songs, but if I have to pick one, I would go with TocarI Have Forgiven Jesus.

    2. How did you get into 20? The Smiths
Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance said he was a fan of them, and me, being the super fangirl I was being at the time, went looking for their music at Youtube and it took a while before I fell for them, but when I did, I fell hard.

    3. Who is your favorite member in 8? Green Day
Probably Billie Joe, because he seems to be nice and funny, and has a kick-ass taste in books :D

    4. Whats your favorite lyric bit by 29? Joshua Radin
But this is the way I need to wake
I wake to you and you never left me
All that I dreamt had been untrue
    Open my eyes
    I see sky
    - from TocarSky.

    5. Have you ever seen 22 live? Nirvana
Sadly not, I was two years old at the time when Kurt Cobain died.

    6. What's your favorite album from 10? Kent
Vapen Och Ammunition, although all their albums are ace.

    7. Do you own any merchandise from 3? Glasvegas
A t-shirt and a bag, I bought them at their concert in May.

    9. Is there a member of the same age as you in 2? My Chemical Romance
Not really, I'm only seventeen xD

    10. When did you first get into 1? Coldplay
I've liked TocarFix You since the first time I heard it, but I thought their other songs were really dull. Then I heard TocarViolet Hill in the summer of 2008, and fell in love.

    11. Who likes 4 along with you? Snow Patrol
No one I know in real life, a couple of internet friends like them though.

Riot On The Rooftops, on their Myspace in January.

TocarUntitled, I believe, it was such a long time ago.

    14. Which song do you not like by 18? Avenged Sevenfold
I don't like their old stuff, it's a bit too heavy for my taste.

    15. Why do you like 14's songs? Morrissey
Because of his lyrics, he's a freakin' genious.

TocarI Write Sins Not Tragedies on MTV in the summer of 2006.

    17. How long was 19 a singer before you liked them? Radiohead
Probably a pretty long time, since they've been around since 1986, and I became a fan of them two years ago or so.

    18. Does 13 have a song that gives you a bad memory? Muse
Probably Supermassive Black Hole because that's the song that made 13 year old girls like them.

    19. When did you get into 17? Death Can For Cutie
I'm not sure, all I know is that I've been into them for some time now. I think I heard them in the summer of 2005 or 2006.

    20. How long have you been into 11? Placebo
Around two months or so xD I started listening to them two weeks before they announced their tour xD

    Jag är en vampyr.

    32. If 49 hated you, what would you do? Kaiser Chiefs

    33. What would you say if 42 or one of the members from 42 asked you out? Athlete

    40. Which member from 31 do you want to see go solo? If 31 is only one artist, what would you do if they joined a group? Florence Valentin

Parties in England in the 70's or 80' (I wasn't even alive then, and I have never been to England xD)
