Alanis Morissette did. No, seriously! She was one of the first artists I was really into, and I really connected to the lyrics.
Ani DiFranco was another big one from back then. I was totally into angry feminism. It was 'just a phase'.
Björk also, I would have to say. Those were like my big three artists.
After maturing a bit, Noe Venable, definately. She got me through the worst times of my life. I don't know what I would have done without Secret Knots.
And then, Patrick Wolf. Proving to me that some guys are really lovely afterall. Fanfreakingtastic, in fact <3
# Music I can listen to on repeat
Also,
# An album I'd take to a deserted island
Oh poo, that's what iPods are for! I really couldn't choose just one.
# Music that makes me smile
# Music that makes me cry
Slowdive, Corinna Fugate. At least, they are great to listen to when I am need of a good cry =)
# Music that I wish had been made
Well, I kind of wish that Patrick Wolf would collaborate with Noe Venable. Or really, any of the artists I listen to. One can never have enough of him =P
# Music that I wish hadn't been made
Anything racist! Or especially sexist!
# Music I'm currently into
Recently... Placebo (Brian <3), Laura Veirs, Joanna Newsom, and a slew of Scandinavian bands: Audrey, Lampshade, Under Byen. I'm of Danish descent, so y'know =P
# Music I've been meaning to explore
One of these days I need to search for classical music. Chopin, Strauss, and the like. Besides, if Momoko does it, so must I =P
