    I see what's up. I got the 1970 album, not the '97 Re-Release. Rock On! Tom :-)

Just received a version of this Album from a friend, with 3 additional tracks, "Here My Train, Foxy Lady, and Stop". Does anyone know if this is an Import or Special Edition of some kind with bonus tracks. I would just like to keep my collection accurate. Any help would be appreciated. Rock On! Tom :-)

"I wasn't too satisfied with the Band Of Gypsies album. If it had been up to me I would have never put it out. From a musician's point of view it was not a good recording and I was out of tune on a few things. Not enough preparation went into it and it came out a bit 'grizzly' - we all felt shaky. The thing was we owed the record company an album and they were pushing us - so here it is..." Jimi on Melody Maker Magazine

@PartSanCTG- I don't know about that, Billy Cox was a bit more funk than Noel Redding, something that I enjoyed, but both are great in their own right. Spectacular album, one of my favorites.

I don't know... I can't say there's much of a difference between bassists, but I prefer Mitch Mitchell's flashy, hyperactive drumming.
