Czw 29 X – Mesmer, WSTEP WOLNY

Tego dnia swój występ dawał również pochodzący ze Szwecji emopostrockowy Jeniferever. Jednak za 25zł do baraku to chodzą tylko szajbusy a i tak pewnie była ich cała masa. W Hydrozagadce koncert Finlandzkiego zespołu Mesmer odbył się przy okazji promocji nowego krążka zatytułowanego The Ghost of a Tennis Court. Ponieważ wcześniej jakoś nie zgłębiałem ich muzyki nie nastawiałem się, nie miałem względem tego koncertu żadnych oczekiwań. Pewnie właśnie dlatego tak bardzo zostałem zaskoczony. Całość wypadła naprawdę dobrze. Wokalista nieco naśladuje Curtisa ale co tam, wpasowuje się w dźwięki z godnością. Szkoda tylko, że mimo darmowego wejścia w Hydrozagadce było zimno z braku publiczności, a może to klimat muzyki taki chłód wzniecił… ?

Sands of Sedna, Keira Is You, Jeniferever.

Od razu zaznaczam, że w recenzji pominę prawie dwugodzinną obsuwę, bo tak naprawdę nie przeszkodziła mi w dobrej zabawie, ale LUDZIE! Litości! Tak się nie robi, przecież niektórzy następnego dnia idą do pracy, na zajęcia albo do szkoły. O takich rzeczach się informuje, a nie zaczyna koncert ok. 22:30 twierdząc, że ma zacząć się o 20:30. Uff.

A więc, na pierwszy ogień Sands of Sedna. Moim zdaniem bardzo udany debiut, nieco nierealistyczny i magiczny klimat utworów (czego można się spodziewać po dwóch członkach Tides From Nebula, którzy to zajmują się również SOS), a do tego dobry wokal, który jak dla mnie dobrze wpasowuje się w taki rodzaj muzyki. Jeśli nie spoczną na laurach tak wcześnie, moim zdaniem zajdą daleko:).

Keira Is You w większości przegadałam, niestety nie zainteresowali mnie na tyle, żeby uważnie wsłuchać się w ich muzykę, ale może zrobię to teraz, po koncercie. Ich muzyka była jak dla mnie lekko przygnębiająca i melancholijna niestety w złym tego słowa znaczeniu. Posłucham jeszcze, może się przekonam.

Co zaś do Jeniferever, to zaskoczyli mnie bardzo pozytywnie. Klimatem przypominają trochę Sigur Rós i muszę przyznać, że taka właśnie opinia zasłyszana gdzieś na sieci przyciągnęła mnie do tego zespołu. Miły wokal i klimatyczny podkład, czasem smutnawy i przygnębiający, czasem trochę bardziej optymistyczny, ale - tutaj melancholia jak najbardziej pozytywna, przynajmniej moim zdaniem. Muzyka Jeniferever jest spokojna i pomaga się wyciszyć, bynajmniej nie mam ochoty się ciąć, kiedy jej słucham (ukłony w stronę tych, którzy twierdzą, że Jeniferever 'smęcą' - nie byłabym aż tak ostra w osądach;)). Koncert uważam za bardzo udany, bardzo podobało mi się oświetlenie i ogólny klimat podczas koncertu - lubię występy w Jadłodajni, bo mają taki kameralny klimacik. Cieszę się też, że Jeniferever zagrali mój ulubiony utwór z ich najnowszej płyty Spring Tides - Nangijala. Przy bisie wokalista zszedł z gitarą ze sceny i grał wśród publiczności tuż obok mnie, co było moim zdaniem bardzo fajne.

Podsumowując - warto było pójść, zwłaszcza mając wejście za darmo:P ale i tak uważam, że mimo SPOREJ obsuwy koncert wart był swojej ceny i poświęconego czasu, bawiłam się świetnie. Czekam na dalsze sukcesy Sands of Sedna, a póki co idę zrobić sobie herbatę i posłuchać Oceansize, coby wczuć się w klimat przed nadchodzącym koncertem.
