If you love this track and have not seen House of Flying Daggers, the film it's from, do... it makes the scene in the field of flowers pretty amazing. But the movie doesn't have much in common with the rest of the lyrics. I suppose they could apply to the character who waits three years to be with the woman he loves, but he finds that she loves another man and becomes the villain, and the story doesn't end well. Based on this song I thought it would be the martial arts film equivalent of The Notebook, but it's nothing like that. :(
