Kiss Each Other Clean is wonderful. Definitely in my top albums of the year. Although I do love Sam Beam's more lo-fi acoustic stuff, I think this change in sound was super cool. The fact that artists can evolve and expand their music in such a way is truly magnificent. I'm more satisfied with the fact that he is willing to try something new and experiment instead of sticking with the same kind of sound.

I really thought that using Flightless Bird during the wedding in Breaking Dawn wasn't right. They should've been more creative and used a different song. I'm really disappointed at the people in control of the music for that movie. Urgh.

I can understand why people don't like the new cd. I think it's a beautiful thing when an artist and their followers evolve in the same manor. I love your new cd. It wasn't what I was expecting but the rhythm and the lyrics hit a special place in my heart. (It was almost as if they knew me. *haha) Thanks Iron and Wine. Keep doin' what you're doin' :)
