1.How did you get into 29? (Vampire Weekend)
Heard 'A-Punk' on Pitchfork I believe.

    2. What was the first song you ever heard by 22? (Fleet Foxes)
    Pretty sure it was 'Mykonos.'

    3. What's your favorite lyric by 33? (Say Anything)
So now I'm forging ahead past all the plutocrats who sold me out/go sob in your bed/if life is twice as pretty once you're dead then send me a card/I'm still the optimist though it is hard.

    4. How did you get into 49? (Explosions in the Sky)
Recommended by a college friend with good music taste.

    5. How many albums by 13 do you own? (M83)
    Saturdays = Youth on vinyl.

    6. What is your favorite song by 50? (Boards of Canada)
An Eagle in Your Mind is pretty chill.

    7. Is there a song by 39 that makes you sad? (Burial)
    TocarUntrue makes me nostalgic sometimes.

    8. What is your favorite album by 15? (Animal Collective)
    Merriweather Post Pavilion easily.

    9. What is your favorite song by 5? (The Clash)
    TocarLondon Calling.

    10. Is there a song by 6 that makes you happy? (TV on the Radio)
Wolf Like Me makes me shred my vocal chords and go wild each time I hear it.

    11. What is the worst song by 40? (Neutral Milk Hotel)
I honestly don't think they have it in them to write poorly.

    12. What is your favorite song by 10? (Arcade Fire)
Really tough question but I'd have to say Rebellion (Lies).

    13. What is a good memory you have involving 30? (The Strokes)
Listening to them with various people that I never see anymore.

    14. What is your favorite song by 38? (Aphex Twin)
    I'd have to say Cock/Ver10

    15. Is there a song by 19 that makes you happy? (of Montreal)
Most of their songs are built for happiness, but in particular TocarGronlandic Edit.

    16. Is there a song by 25 that makes you sad? (Interpol)
Untitled makes me feel a bit sad sometimes, mostly because I relate to it in a strange way.

    17. What is the first song you ever heard by 23? (The Gaslight Anthem)
First heard of them from reading absolutepunk.net. Couldn't stand all the hype that was surrounding them on that site so I stayed away for a while. This was a mistake. One day I broke down and listened to The '59 Sound. Great decision.

    18. What's your favorite lyric by 11? (Morrissey)
So many great ones from the master of the mope. "America, it brought you the hamburger/Well America, you know where you can shove your hamburger/and don't you wonder why in Estonia they say/hey you big fat pig, you fat pig, you fat pig" always makes me laugh.

    19. Who is a favorite member of 1? (The Beatles)
John Lennon was the greatest Beatle. There is no doubt in my mind to this fact. He wrote the greatest songs, had the best voice, and was the leader of the most wonderful movements. I can understand arguments for McCartney and will entertain thoughts on Harrison. Ringo was Ringo.

    20. Is there a song by 14 that makes you happy? (John Lennon)

    TocarLike Eating Glass.

    23. What is the first song you ever heard by 47? (The Killers)

    24. What is your favorite album by 18? (Air)
    Moon Safari is their masterpiece.

    25. What is your favorite song by 21? (Fleet Foxes)

Gold Digger, and I fucking hated it. This changed one day.

    27. What is your favorite album by 3? (Radiohead)
Wonderful question. OK Computer dominates of course, but they all offer something amazing to music.

    28. What is you favorite song by 2? (Brand New)

Lately I've been really, really enjoying the sounds of D'yer Mak'er

    01. How did you get into #31?

Chuck Berry - I've been hearing him on oldies radio since before I could talk.

    02. What was the first song you ever heard by #22?

that's weird, the person I stole this from had Elliott Smith at number 22 also.
the first one I remember hearing was TocarAngeles, but I don't think that's right. I had listened to him before but Angeles was the song that made me love him.

    03. What's your favorite lyric by #41 ?
hmmm...I think a lot of them are really good although sometimes a little cheesy.
I've got torn up knees and calloused fingertips
broken vocal chords and busted lips
    is a good one though.
    Lucero - All Sewn Up

    04. What is your favorite album by #49 ?

Make Yourself although I haven't listened to it in ages.

    05. How many albums by #13 do you own?

Only three, Green River, and Chronicle Vols. 1 and 2. in my opinion, they didn't have that many good ones. when they were good they were awesome but when they weren't they were terrible.

    06. What is your favorite song by #50 ?

I don't know I don't listen to them very much anymore. probably Bastard's Way, for nostalgia's sake.

    07. Is there a song by #4 that makes you sad?

not really. I dunno, maybe Grandma Song. I'm even sure if it's supposed to be sad, but it kind of feels that way.

    08. What is your least favorite song by #15 ?

I don't know. I think a lot of Iron & Wine's songs don't really sound like much, I think at a certain point you can have music that's TOO soft. some of the songs feel like they don't have any substance to them sometimes. but it does make for music that's really easy to go to sleep to.

    09. What is your favorite song by #5

dude too many. in my opinion every single track from From Here To Infirmary, Goddamnit, and Good Mourning are fucking gold.

    10. Is there a song by #6 that makes you happy?

TocarCountry Roads probably the most, but John Denver is happy music in general.

    11. What is your favorite album by #40 ?

    Songs From Under The Sink.

    12. What is your favorite song by #10 ?

No Children, hands down. but TocarGoing to Georgia also has a very special place in my heart.

    13. What is a good memory you have involving #33 ?

I grew up listening to The Beach Boys, so there's a lot of nostalgia attached to them. But my ex boyfriend opened my eyes to the brilliance of Pet Sounds, and that's also another really good memory. getting ridiculously baked and lying there listening to it over and over again, only moving to get up and flip the record.

    14. What is your favourite song by #37 ?

I don't know probably TocarFree Pizza For Life, but I have a love/hate relationship with Ghost Mice. I can't help but love it sometimes but if they come up on shuffle when I'm not in the mood, I will scrunch up my face and change it as soon as possible because their voices are so incredibly grating sometimes.

    15. Is there a song by #19 that makes you happy?

Weezer is just happy music in general man. but particularly anything off the Green Album or the Blue Album. even the ones that are supposed to be angsty, it's like the happiest music on the planet.

    16. How many times have you seen #24 live?

none. I almost saw AC/DC last year, but ended up backing out on spending $90 for one concert.

    17. What is the first song you heard by #23 ?

Muse. It had to have been something from Origin Of Symmetry.

    18. What is your favorite album by #11 ?

    Requiem, no contest.

    19. Who is your favorite member of #1 ?

Dude I had such a crush on Tom Gabel the entire time I was in high school, until I saw them live and I seriously think if Andrew Seward had asked me to sacrifice my virginity to him on stage that night in front of everyone, I probably would have done it, no questions asked.

    20. How many times have you seen #14 live?

High on Fire, just once, but it may be twice very soon.

    21. What is a good memory you have involving #45 ?

Neutral Milk Hotel...I can't really think of anything.

    22. What is your favorite song by #16 ?

Either Grenades or Healer...or really anything from Meanderthal.

    23. What is the first song you heard by #47 ?

I think it was Dick in Dixie, but if not that then definitely something off Straight to Hell.

    24. What is your favorite album by #3 ?

I don't know, I don't think it matters much for an all covers band, but probably Love Their Country.

    25. What is your favourite song by #18 ?

    Baroness? probably Coeur.

    26. What is the first song you heard by #38 ?

I have no idea. I'm sure I was totally stoned at the time. (Melvins)

    27. What is your favourite lyric that #21 has sung?

I don't know...Green Day? some of them are pretty insightful I guess. (?)

    28. What is your favourite song by #2 ?

god picking favorites is so hard. some of The Avett Brothers' songs seriously bring me close to tears. they make some damn beautiful music. but just for the sake of picking one I'll go with The Ballad Of Love And Hate

    29. What is the first song you heard by #32 ?

I'm sure it was Blitzkreig Bop.

    30. What is your favorite song by #8 ?

Favorite song by The Beatles? I'm going to take that as a rhetorical question.

    31. How many times have you seen #17 live?

I've only seen Propagandhi once, a loooong time ago.

    32. Is there a song by #44 that makes you happy?

Teardrops on Table 39. don't ask why, I have no idea.

    33. What is your favorite album by #12 ?

Loretta Lynn? I don't know, probably Coal Miner's Daughter, to be completely honest.

    34. What is the worst song by #29 ?

The Ataris have quite a few terrible songs. I can't pick just one. I also can't believe these guys are my #29? I think this must be due to shuffle because the last time I remember consciously choosing to listen to them was like 4 or 5 years ago.

    35. What was the first song you heard by #34 ?

    Ten Things. Oh, Paul Baribeau.

    36. What is your favorite album by #42 ?

The Attic Tapes, and That Much Further West, but for two completely different reasons and I listen to them when I'm in completely different moods.

    37. How many times have you seen #39 live?

I wish I could see Merle Haggard.

    38. What is your favorite album by #36 ?

Probably Smile. Boris, not Brian Wilson

    39. What is the first song you heard by #28 ?

TocarWhiskey is my Kind of Lullaby. and it remains my favorite.

    40. What is your favourite album by #7?

Bridge Over Troubled Water, without question.

    god I'm so bored.
