Im Sommer 2002 rollte das Elbhochwasser von Norden über die neuen Bundesländer und überschwemmte sämtliche Dörfer und Straßen in und um Dresden und Leipzig. Und je näher das Festivalwochenende rückte, desto mehr Elbbrücken wurden geschlossen. Und wir mussten, verdammt noch mal, über die Elbe wenn wir nach Thüringen wollten. Zu unserem Glück war am Freitag die letzte befahrbare Elbbrücke die A4 bei Dresden.

Freitag, 16. August

Wir starteten früh um halb 8 von Hoyerswerda und während ich das Radio einschalte, ertönt auf Radio Fritz sogar die aktuelle Filter-Single „Where Do We Go From Here“ und ich wusste: Gott ist ein Rocker.

Nachdem wir ca. 3 Stunden auf der Autobahn zugebracht hatten und uns an dem riesigen Elb-Pegel bei Dresden ergötzt hatten, rollten wir voller Enthusiasmus durch die Thüringischen Highlands. Nach einiger Suche, diversen Beschilderungen denen wir gefolgt waren und ein paar Polizisten…

This morning I was listening to Biohazard and thinking about albums I've been listening to for a while. Here's 10 albums that have stayed with me from listening to rapcore/nu-metal in high school to the hardcore punk and folk metal that frequents my playlist now. There's a sad lack of cc/open music in the list. Hopefully one day that changes! Now, there are plenty of songs that are still good, but complete albums are much harder to come by! Mind you, this would be easy pre-2001 albums. There'd be some Misfits and Minor Threat more than likely, but that's not what I'm doing. I'm talking about things I was actually listening to then.

What is your favorite album by 2?
This is a hard one, but I'm going with 'Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace'. I think this is the most solid album the Foo's have made, there isn't really one song that I dislike (which all the other albums, unfortunaly, do have). Also the fact that they used 'new' things like piano's in their music makes me love this album so much.

What is your favorite lyric that 5 has sung?
Oh lol, favorite lyrics by Limp Bizkit. Let's just say Lyrics isn't Limp Bizkit's strongest part. Pfft, this one is hard, but I'm going with 'Sour' from their first album.
