    Just no. Since when do you start an otherwise good album off with something as slow and overly synthesized as this? It might work better as an ending, but that still wouldn't help the fact that the song is not an interesting listen.

    Well, If you liked it more when you believed he was saluting himself, then just fucking imagine he is doing it! That's the point of music, to move your own fibers, not to let other people tell you what to feel or think.

    This song is kind of a letdown. I thought he was saluting himself from the title alone until I realized it was Christopher Hitchens he was saluting after listening to the song. Christopher Hitchens, "the gadfly with gusto" could give two fucks, that's why the dedication falls on stony ground.
