DEP are good in their own right and are not to even be compared to a band as radically different as Hunab Ku. That said, does anyone think Luke Jaeger kind of ruined that re-release of The Gaze Inward? The diminished and harmonic minor arpeggios just make them sound so conventional.

I am digging it, just got ahold of the Gaze Inward and it is a pretty strange little treat little trazzle thusfar. I imagine my interest in it will only grow with more listens. Pretty odd music, reminds me of Exotic Animal Petting Zoo and Genghis Tron but perhaps even more bizarre and/or abstract.
