P4ran0id i wonder if anyone who's here commenting has ever been involved in a recording process, let alone stepped into a recording studio, her voice sounds the cleaner i've heard compared to the previous release, and do you think with a movie budget and Trent+Atticus behind the producing chair that they would just record a bad take and auto tune it? please be a little more objetive and listen to a beautiful voice and interpretation here

bahi Wasn't sure how this would turn out but they did a great job. There's a 7-minute version of Ferry's original recording — lots of David Gilmour and an unnamed alto sax player, and a beautiful, no-fade close . If you like the song, be on the lookout for that recording. I haven't tired of it since its release in 1986.

music-o-maniac I love it. On the contrary, Mariqueen sounds brilliant here, doesn't matter if it was pitch-corrected or not, it's just great.

HeadShoteR LodairJr: Because of the amount of pitch-correction used on her vocals (not only) on this track. I don't care if she can't sing. All I care about is the music. I'm only pointing that out because she claims they don't use any pitch-correction at all which is obviously a lie.

howisya uh, yeah, men would do a lot of things for their wives, and at this point, trent has accomplished enough to get away with something like that. i think she's a decent singer, and maybe she'll improve with trent producing.

On the contrary, her voice in this song is as clear of effects as it used to be when she was a vocalist for West Indian Girl. And I really can't understand why people still think she can't sing. Do you all really believe Trent would put her as the main vocalist if she couldn't sing?
