15 counts is more brutal than monument to my ears, so it wins out. Awesome band.

I used to think that FCOA was better like 2 years ago, now I love MTT much more. Every single HHIG release is fucking amazing though.

I personally didn't like them when I heard 15 counts, it was once I heard Monuments that I realize how awesome they are.

pretty decent, but i dont like the combining of overtly melodic guitars and crust punk, really. i guess its something ill have to deal with. i like this band, but at the same time i dont. does that make sense?

I bought 15 counts like 4 years ago, but didn't really get into them until I found Monuments to Thieves earlier this year

Actually I'm wondering why everybody loves Fifteen Counts that much, I think 'Monuments To Thieves' is a good bit better.

I remember getting huge catalogs from the now-defunct Initial Records, and they described HHIG as power-violence, so that was my reference point for them for years

It's awesome how Fifteen Counts of Arson actually has crust and sludge tracks.

Fifteen Counts Of Arson remains as one of my favorite, heavy/crust/thrash influenced hardcore bands of the late 90's. Even with a background in crust/thrash, they managed to gain more and more fans who normally wouldn't like the sort. Seeing them live was always a great time. Wish there were more bands with their mindset in music. Tragedy comes close, but no cigar.
