Absolutely stunning. I have had this album for a couple years and listened to it hear and there, but it's finally fully clicked with me. I feel as if I have opened Pandora's Box now!

The stream has the wrong version of Watermelon Man, that from the 1962 album Takin' Off istead of the ten years younger version from Head Hunters

An incredible album!! He took two different worlds (jazz and funk) and mashed them up into a new sound which has been copied over and over again. It's absolutely timeless.
