The 1990s was a decade full of lifelong memories
I finished high school, went to college and went on
to graduate school.
When I listen to music in the early 1990s such as Jodeci, Quincy Jones' Secret Garden, The Boyz 'N the Hood Soundtrack, Rob Base, Queen Latifah, A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, Boyz II Men, Al B. Sure, Michael Jackson, Prince, Janet Jackson, Black Sheep, Go Go Music (DC represent!), and the list can go on and on -- I think of my wonderful friends and the fun things we did back then.
The new medium of CDs were introduced in 1987 so we all were pretty new to using CDs. Before we could burn CDs as we do now, back then, we would take audio tapes and make slow jam, car jam and mixed tapes. This was a tradition for me and my friends to do this once a year before the school year was over to share our favorite songs with one another for the summer.
