There is a slight difference between disagreeing with something and then openly claiming it is wrong in a song. Like was mentioned before, music is supposed to bring people together. If i were gay and listened to "Letters to the president" I'd feel as though i was being targeted, wrongly too. Since the whole song is about what is wrong with society, the way the line is placed amongst this song, leads me and many others to believe, that homosexuality is being put in a negative light by this band. And no religion is not an excuse.
