while each of their CDs gets worse than the last they still have some validity in the current pop-punk scene (see Words We Speak and Ancient History from their new album) but Letters to the President is still their best cd

The review for the new Hawk Nelson album in the new Alternative Press is really dead on. 1 out of 5 stars. ...Flat vocals and over-processed guitars contribute to a near-total lack of dynamics and completely banal transitions between verses and choruses. Further killing the potential for any redeeming value are at least three mopey ballads that were seemingly left off the last Simple Plan album

Also your naive useless posts saying 'why can't everyone just love everything' are ridiculous. It's a shoutbox, opinions will be posted on the band whether they are negative or positive.
