a friend recently recommended 'bee thousand' to me and after hearing it a dozen times, i must say it's one of the best albums i've ever heard. from what i hear they don't really get better than that, though i'm interested in hearing some of their other albums, any suggestions on which ones i should check out?

i personally love and enjoy alien lanes/bee thousand just the same, but under the bushes... is easily my favorite of the full length batch. AL/BT follow very closely behind. honorable mentions also go to: propeller, tonics and twisted chasers, same place the fly got smashed, and vampire on titus (the greatest "hangover record" of all time). though every album he's ever done is solid gold to me.

Actually, I still haven't heard some of their albums, at least in full, Sandbox being one of them. :/ 'Everyday' from that is a really good song, though.

Alien Lanes is my favorite, then comes Bee Thousand, followed by Propeller but nobody speaks about Sandbox, WHY IS THIS ALBUM SO UNDERRATED ???

I've always preferred Alien Lanes to Bee Thousand. Under The Bushes Under The Stars is my favorite GbV album hands down, though.
