Heading out on a long journey tomorrow from Portland to France to play a Helios show in a small town called Rodez.  I will have the opportunity to play with a lovely musician called Library Tapes. This event will be hosted by the fine folks at Arbouse Recordings, hope to see some of you there.

Each fall I remember how beautiful it is in Lancaster Pennsylvania, where I’m from. Last time I was living there, I wrote this.

I found this piano at a Bed and Breakfast Hollie and I stayed at near Ironbridge in the UK before our gig at Union Chapel.

Here is a photo and a clip from a live recording of my Goldmund set last Sunday from the Triple Door in Seattle.  The song is called “Tiny White Point”.

Thanks to everyone who helped organize the short Helios/Goldmund tour in Japan; Warszawa, Zanyko, Art Union et al.  Hollie and I enjoyed our trip and Tokyo was a really interesting city! I’ve never heard cicadas so loud, just walking around the park was like living in a Merzbow album. The crowds were some of the nicest most respectful groups of concert go-ers I could ever imagine, and we can’t wait to go back.

There are many pictures and stories to tell, but for now here is a video of the Goldmund set that I did in the auditorium that used to be an all-girl’s school in Tokyo that was built by Frank Lloyd Wright in the 20’s.
