Quando se fala em Garden of Delight não se pode só falar em música mas também, obrigatoriamente, numa espécie de doutrina. Ao longo do tempo esta banda alemã, que surgiu em 1991, habituou-nos a um conceito mágico, baseado nas reflexões de inspiração mitológica do líder (highpriest - ?) Artaud Seth, aliado ao som mais obscuro e epicamente negro (os primeiros discos mostram uma grande influência de bandas como Sisters of Mercy e Fields of the Nephilim, por exemplo).
