• New Albums

I bought three new albums yesterday. I got G. Love & Special Sauce, Room on Fire and Illinois.

I noticed the G Love & Special Sauce album, its not an album that I had heard any songs off but it was quite cheap so I thought I might aswell give it a bit of a listen.

The Strokes album was also quite cheap and has some good songs on so I thought I migh aswell go for that one also.

The Sufjan Stevens album is an amazing album. However I previously only had a copied vesion of it so when I saw they had it it seemed a good time to replace my old copy.
  • MY FAVE ALBUMS EVER / Giving Artists proper leverage / Playlist envy

    Where to start umm...

There's music that I REALLY like, but I'm realizing that I'm still surface surfing and liking my compilation CDs a bit too much, and also basking in too many of them. I need to home in and go get the CDs of these artists that are just glowing. I can't give leverage to them and claim that I'm a "fan" if all I do is pound away at that one track.. I wanna get to know you, bitch. I wanna love albums from begining to end. Had to answer another one of those "What do you listen to questions" the other day, and while I could just join a group such as "People with extensive taste in music" I really don't want to. Don't we all have extensive taste with music? Anybody out there listening to STRICTLY the same bands over and over again?

Note to self and whoever out there is reading. Non-Compilation Albums that I'm crazy about, that is, that I can listen to from begining to end without thinking of anything better to do:

    Cocadisco
    L' Après-Midi d'un Microphone
