Faraquet were a band from 1997 until 2001. We released two 7” vinyl, one split EP and one full length CD called “The View From This Tower” on Dischord Records in 2000. Both Chad and Devin are currently in a band called Medications that have released an EP and a full length on Dischord Records and are also playing with Mary Timony. The band is currently working on reissuing all there material released prior to their full length and are reforming to play shows in support of this project.

Sad to see them broken up.. first heard Faraquet in 2000 on the Arkanso(sp) split, which was amazing. These guys clock time like Don Caballero/Turing Machine but manage to go into very harmonic-like digressions, instead of the normal "complexity" math rock can have (I am sure any person who likes the genre can relate). Anyone have recommendations for others who manage this?
