I used to hate them too, with all that 'Dance, Dance' fever in 2005, because Pete Wentz's look, teenage fan base and cause it's a pop song. But I got admit, now I know the band and i can say that Pete Wentz is fucking terrible at bass, but Andy Hurley is a good drummer with death and thrash metal influences, like Gojira, Trivium and Bleeding Through. And Patrick Stump got a really nice voice with blues and soul influences. But whatever, pete wentz can be annoying and a terrible player, but he's really creative and do great lyrics. I'm sorry about the poor english, i'm brazilian...[2]

@Anarchist_Angel: The Killers changed their style in their most recent album because of the similarities in style. Most of the conflict lies in both bands first albums, due to the similar style and the timing. The Killers came out with a hit CD and then FOB followed suit soon after. Maybe FOB didn't intentionally 'steal' it and maybe they found it through similar means but that's not how Flowers took it and that's what it seemed like to me. I agree that nowadays, all forms of originality in music, at least Rock, have been exhausted.

There are only so many notes and only so many ways to put them together after all. They make music they like, i'd hope that every other band does the same! p.s. Not really seeing the killers style in fall out boy's music... Especially in both of the band's new albums. Fall out boy take heavy influences from New found glory which really shows through but not the killers :P

Thier first albums were absolutely brilliant and they have continued to deliver! (we're not counting infinity on a high, the album never happened :P) Also, that comment can actually be taken as a complement as cancer (as in the star sign) is associated with creativity and imagination!
