Faith and the Muse não é apenas música, mas também arte e teatro. William Faith e Monica Richards criaram o seu próprio universo, não tem qualquer tipo de limites no seu estilo de música. Com influências de música neo-clássica, Jazz, eletrônica, Avant Garde e Folk estes artistas alcançam qualquer estilo cultural.
Banda de Los Angeles, juntaram-se em 1993, depois de Faith já ter tocado com Christian Death e Shadow Project e Monica na banda de hardcore punk Washington DC como vocalista e em Strange Boutique.
Já possuem 5 álbuns lançados e um duplo CD. São estes: InfraWarrior, Vera Causa, Annwyn Beneath the Waves, Elyria e o duplo CD The Burning Season.
