Starts creepy and cultish, but then really becomes quite beautiful around 1 minute in

The lyrics... God... So perfectly haunting. If you have the chance to read the lyrics translated, you'll understand.

Not common to hear someone singing in latin. One of my favourite Enya's songs, together with "Tempus vernum", both haunting and powerful

Eithne Patricia Ní Bhraonáin: I'm glad she shortened it from the native Elvish. Seriously every time you skip an Enya track a fairy dies... I'm not kidding, you better just listen through to the end.

I LOVE this song....one Enya's best gems; even if it never received airplay or commercial success...Brilliant vocals and layers.....WOW~

The T'bone is correct, the transitions are what really make this track. Spooz!, you need to swap out your avatar for Lucy Lawless. Our beloved Zena of ancient Steroidia. The one and only buxom, battlin', Texas sized cutlery packin' babe. She's definitely a closer fit. Which begs the question: Zena could literally beat the snot out of 10 or 20 big ol' iron pumper thugs without so much as a booboo to her butt. Was she a proper role model for young boys? I mean it's ok now. But when these lads grow up they're expecting prospective mates to be punchin' people, wearing tight fitting black leather, and generally coping a dominatrix 'tude. ...Ahhh...ooh...mmm....what were we talking about? Oh yeah, if you're in the US, be sure to vote Tuesday. If not, come to the US and vote anyway. You'll probably make better choices than we do. Plus if it weren't for the occasional political scandal our news is uniformly dull. So be sure to vote!
