Elle Milano were a three-piece alternative rock band based in Brighton, England. At the time of their split, they were signed to independent label Brighton Electric. The band were known for having a large catalogue of songs, most of which are available online.
They made a number of radio appearances but the most notable being on national BBC Radio 1 with Steve Lamacq on 22 August 2005 and on digital BBC Radio 6 on 1 July 2006, appearing on the Rocket Science show. More recently, the band performed with Bloc Party and Metric on Lamacq’s Radio 6 live in the city in Reading, of which a number of live performances of the band were broadcast.
On October 27 2008, the band split up, a month after having to cancel gigs that they were due to undertake with Hot Club de Paris, in late September and early October.

One of the few bands I'm still listening to 4 and a half years after coming across them. My biggest regret never getting to see them as they never made it to Ireland. Would I be right saying that their only gig outside of Scotland or England was one they did in Milan?
