I agree with almost everyone: the piano is what makes this song. The rest of the album is indeed boring. (And if it weren't for the piano this song would be just as boring as the rest.) Definitely not a doom metal album, "The Bees Make Honey..." actually has a feel similar to some of Bill Frisell's simpler groove-folk work.
