Time to look back at my top albums from summer 2010.
1) Jojo Burger Tempest
- Working For A Nuclear Free City
Jojo Burger Tempest was easily my most anticipated album this year, and it definitely did not disappoint. For a week straight this was the only album I had playing - I couldn't bring myself to listen to anything else because it would have just felt wrong. I simply had to submerse myself in the unique genius of WFANFC. Fantastic album; the band deserves every sale they can get, and may this wicked album live on.
Speaking of sales, the band announced on facebook that they were releasing the album early as a paid digital download.
I commented to them: "Purchased. I hope I made you rich."
Their was the reply: "Our children have no shoes :("
I love these guys.
2) Blood Music
Much more experimental than their previous album, Chapterhouse mixes electronics with their classic shoegaze sound to make something truly amazing. …
