Damn, when I first heard it, I thought, "hell, it sounds like Queen, the voice, even the riffs."
Lousy of me to not know Queen that well, and then find out that it was indeed an cover. The original is good, but not that great, in my opinion, Dream Theaters version is better.
This is some resplendant interpreting... Sheer Heart Attack is by far the best Queen album, and once again the kings just nail it here with this. You can look for a better cover song of anything, but it'll be a difficult task...
probably the best cover on their latest album. it's very nice they covered those songs, I hope this way younger generation discovers more of the the old progressive queen songs, such as the prophet's song.
Not the biggest fan of James, and I expected him to ruin the best singer EVER's song , but he didn't and this is some of his best vocal work I think, as is the whole of BC&SL in comparison to the two others I have heard Awake and Images and Dreams
