Because everyone on last.fm seems to be having such a list, I might as well start one too. In random order:

Snow Patrol
- At last, I've seen my favorite band of all time. It was everything I hoped for and more. Somewhere a Clock is Ticking, a tiny bit of Olive Grove and the complete 16-minute version of The Lightning Strike! And ofcourse the very funny and charming Mr. Lightbody.
Incubus
- My first "big" concert, together with my nephew. Some sort of 'rebound' when I missed out on Snow Patrol. But is was awesome! I liked their new album Light Grenades, but this concert really made me a big fan.
Arctic Monkeys
- Ah, the Monkeys. Well, what is there left to say? The music speaks for itself. Excellent live performance, but not much of a show. The guys are a bit boring. But who cares, with music like that. It was so cool.
Bloc Party
- It took me some time to get into Silent Alarm. I never really got into A Weekend In The City. But I loved Intimacy the first time I heard it. So it was time for my first Bloc Party gig. I totally fell for Kele Okereke. Never thought he'd be such a charismatic guy! Love him. Their performance was really good. Oh, and somebody got sick right in front of us. Then some guy came to clean it up and Kele was confused about what happened. Memorable moments ;)
John Mayer
- My second favorite artist, like, ever. I missed out on his gig in the Melkweg, but when I heard about Picnic in the Park, I immediately knew I had to get tickets. A beautiful sunny day at the Zuiderpark, friends, and Mr. Mayer. Tell me, does it get any better than that?
Coldplay
- My boyfriend won tickets to this gig. And I didn't believe it at first. I mean, it's Coldplay! But it was magical. Thousands of paper butterflies flying through the air, Coldplay appearing between the crowd on the balcony, Chris Martin running around on stage. Legendary.
Franz Ferdinand
- Saw them at Lowlands 2008. We were very close to the stage and it was one hell of a party! Jumping around like there was no tomorrow and screaming at the top of your lungs.
Sigur Rós
- Saw them at Lowlands 2008. Unfortunately I had a lot of pain in my back and wasn't able to stand up any longer so we had to leave early. Again, we were right in front of the stage and it was so beautiful. Goosebumps all over.
Red Hot Chili Peppers
- Went to their special concert at the Goffertpark in Nijmegen with my best friend. Their support act, was really the worst thing I've ever seen (and probably will ever see) in my whole life. Really, Mickey Avalon was a disgrace. The Peppers were really cool. But what would you expect?
Elbow
- Saw them play by accident when we tried to hide from the rain at Lowlands 2008. The best place to hide by far! I never really heard anything from Elbow, but they surprised me with their beautiful, beautiful music. I was so overwhelmed I had to cry. Seriously. Really like to see them again.
The Decemberists
- Again, my boyfriend won tickets (the lucky guy) and I had no idea what to expect. But I was pleasantly surprised. It really is something different. But I like it.
Maxïmo Park
- Paul Smith is an energetic singer. Add some very energetic songs and you will have one evening of singing, dancing and great entertainment.
The Killers
- After the concert was postponed in March, we returned to the Heineken Music Hall in May. And the Killers had to make up for the waiting! Well, they did deliver as I might say so. Their show was full of special effects, Brandon gave it his all and we had a blast.
Pete Murray
- A bit of a letdown. Sure, he is a good singer. But his songs tend to get a bit boring in the long run.
Editors (x2)
- After missing them on Lowlands, I went to see them on their clubtour. The drama! The piano-climbing! The deep-dark voice of Tom Smith! The nice lightplan! Must admit that the first gig was better than the second one.
Klaxons
- The shortest concert I've seen. They played their entire album in about an hour. Too bad.
Patrick Watson
- Surprise, surprise! This music takes some getting used to. But when you hear Patrick Watson performing live, you can only but love what you're hearing.
C-Mon & Kypski
- The Circus is coming! Cool show, with Pete Philly being cut in half by a man with a chainsaw...
Pete Philly & Perquisite
- But I went to see him again on Lowlands a few months later. Never really thought much of Pete Philly and Perquisite, but man, they are good! Great songs, great freestyle, great atmosphere.
Fixkes
- Belgian band. I must admit that I didn't really like them at first. But when I won tickets I decided to go. They are really the sweetest band you'll ever see. Their lyrics, their accent. Cute!
Voicst
- They were the supporting act for Patrick Watson in Tivoli. They (unfortunately) did an acoustic set. I wasn't impressed at the time. Maybe a second chance?
The Automatic
- First concert I attended. Ever. (Okay, so I saw Kane)before this gig, but let's just forget about that, right?) Never heard of them. But they were very entertaining and I liked their songs.
Hot Chip
- I only got to know Hot Chip after their song Ready For The Floor. And I hated that track. But after they performed at the Lowlands Festival I really started to appreciate their album Made In The Dark. Do it, do it ,do it now!
Rooney
- We decided to go to Rooney last-minute. So, it's not the best band in the world. And there were an awful lot of teenage girls in front of the stage, but it was a nice band for a summer evening.
Muse
Finally, I saw Muse live! They truly are one of the greatest (if not greatest) live bands in the world today. One word: WOW.
The Girls
Nice band. Nothing spectacular.

I did not expect them to be great live, and well...they weren't. This is a band that depends on the gimmick. Well, let's say that it makes one evening of entertainment. No need to see them again.

Not very special. Laid-back music in Jack Johnson style. Only not as compelling.

Perfect end-of-summer music. Cute band, with very addictive songs.

Nice, energetic songs. It's just... all the songs sound the same, really...

Interesting to watch for about ten minutes. There is more to Lowlands!

The most-hyped band of Lowlands. Well, they were quite good, but we still left after all the hits. But can you forgive us, we were hungry!

I don't know. Their performance wasn't all that bad, but I guess it wasn't the right time. Ten o'clock on a sunday morning after two days of festival just isn't going to work.
