Deerhunter é uma banda norte-americana formada em 2001 na cidade de Atlanta. A sua atual composição consiste em Bradford Cox (voz, guitarra, piano), Lockett Pundt (guitarra, orgão, vocal), Josh Fauver (baixo, vocal), e Moses Archuleta (bateria, sintetizadores).
O grupo surgiu com a ambição de fundir a tranquilidade e o hipnotismo provocados pela música ambiente e minimalista com a propulsão do rock de garagem. Seu som é geralmente classificado como rock psicodélico e experimental.
Alguns dos membros da banda desenvolvem projetos paralelos à banda. Em 2008, Bradford Cox lançou, sob o nome Atlas Sound, o álbum Let the Blind Lead Those Who Can See but Cannot Feel, e Lockett Pundt lançou em março de 2009, sob o nome Lotus Plaza, o disco The Floodlight Collective.
