Some people can say that glam sounds so dated as a music genre, but they can't deny the brilliance of this album. Taken as a whole, a great concept album. Individually, each track a gem. Top notch musicianship too, for that "glam" sound. Always hedge to call this my alltime favorite album (since I love "Loveless" and a couple others just as much). But it is my favorite Bowie. A great work of art.

If someone thinks that I'm gonna read the whole post below mine than he's mistaken... I've got a really big problem with this album - I'm addicted to Moonage Daydream and I can't listen to the rest!

BobbieWest (Saturday 21 June 2008) Send a Private Message to BobbieWest Delete After the Major Tom single got airplay in the US, Bowie's handlers wanted Davie to think up something BIG to break into America. He also had to do some image revamp after the debacle of his interview heard round the world that he's married but Angie and he were both Bi-sexual playas and loved it. Also, we caught wind of the english Honky Dory LP cover where he's posing on a couch, looking like Lauren Bacall with long hair, make up and a long flowy frock dress. That shit didn't fly in 1970 USA. (thus the US cover of HD; a close-up holding back his extrodinary hair) Great concept album with a great "space alien" story. He's at his hungriest and perhaps his best on Ziggy. Now go listen to the first Bowie live LP, David Live. it is phenomenal
