Underworld is back with Barking, which seems like its an apology/over-correction album. You've seen it before, an artist goes too far out on a limb, then someone (record company, artists, etc) figures it out, then they come back to the mainstream.(well mainstream for Underworld
It can work (Madonna American Life to Confessions on A Dancefloor) or it can miss the mark, where Underworld seems to have done here
It seems like Rick and Karl wanted a return to the dancefloor, and since they probably cant call up old buddy Darren Emerson, they bring in some hot shot producers like Dubfire from Deep Dish, Mark Knight and D.Ramirez, and even some dubstep with High Contrast, Appleblim and Al Tourettes
What you get is a very mixed bag.
