Dark the Suns is a gothic metal band from Jyväskylä, Finland…beautiful piano melodies and dark vocals… melodic and atmospheric, but still very energetic style of gothic metal.

Dark the Suns was originally founded as Mikko’s solo project in 2005 in Valkeakoski. The first demo - where Mikko played all the instruments himself - was selected as ”Demo of the Month” in Inferno Magazine. In the beginning of 2006 DtS settled to Jyväskylä and Mikko’s one-man project grew to a full band when Juha joined the band as a keyboardist, Inka as a bassist and Markus as a drummer.

It was recommended to me because of Eternal Tears of Sorrow, though I think it really sounds more like Draconian, more depressive and slow than EToS^^ But still really good and The Sleeping Beauty is sooo amazing <3 I just LOVE that Keyboard tune :)
