Cymbals Eat Guitars is an indie rock band from Staten Island, New York. Joseph Ferocious (Joseph D’Agostino) and Matthew Miller attended Southern Regional High School in Manahawkin, New Jersey where they graduated in the class of 2006 together.

I legitimately feel pretty bad for initially dismissing these guys as the most generic sounding indie band, because they really are fantastic.

I love stumbling across unique, distinct bands like this! Its a shame the similar artists are grouped together because of the music blog that hosts their reviews and not genuine similarity, though.

The only CEG song that can really be said to have a chorus is ...And the Hazy Sea, and even that only has WAAAOOOAAAOOOAAAOOOAAAOOO...not exactly a classical chorus.
