I think the important thing to remember is that this album was never intended to sound like albums like Folk-Lore or The Middle Kingdom. I'd actually be willing to bet that if this had any other name on it other than Cruachan then it wouldn't be seeing such a negative backlash.

It's really not that bad. It pales in comparison to their earlier work, but it's certainly listenable.

Great album. No Folk-Lore certainly but it was never intended to be. Really reminds of Tuatha na Gael, but with much stronger results.
