Biografia

@SCREAM109 agreed, it wasn't nearly perfect in every way like First Utterance but I still enjoyed it. I just think they were trying too hard to make a First Utterance 2 rather than something more original

@MilitaryTwoStep: Out of the Coma may not be up to par with FIrst Utterance but it's in no way mediocre.

gradually coming to the realisation and acceptance there are no bands like Comus and every obscure folk record someone reccs you from the 70's on the basis "it totes sounds like comus dude!" is a LIE and what they mean is "it totes sounds like comus if they had none of the appeal of comus dude!" this band deserved to have 9 albums of intensifying quality with each release not one amazing record followed by mediocrity. there is no justice in this world.

"there's no album that sounds like First Utterance of course, but instrumentally it sounds like other british folk rock of the 70s and has that same medieval vibe. nothing comes close to the intensity of the playing and the dark lyrical themes though, no one else had the balls.". I'd agree, but did you listen Hoelderlin's Traum by Hoelderlin and St. Radiguns by Spyrogira? that albums have a similar kind of intensity, especially Hoelderlin's Traum. Check 'em out. And you, people, if you're reading this, listen that albums, too.

it doesn't really sound like any other 60 or 70's folk rock band instrumentally though. it really doesn't.
