Blue Scholars are taking a bit of a break so Geo can finish his degree at UW and Sabzi can take time to work on his side projects.

Common Market HAS broken up. I'm not exactly clear on the story, but I think it has something to do with Sabzi moving to New York and Ra Scion staying in Seattle to raise his family. As far as I know Blue Scholars are still together.

so that's it... I was wondering why there haven't been any updates about plans for new material. since there's so much going on with Blue Scholars right now I thought that maybe Sabzi didn't find time for new Common Market productions. as much as I love Blue Scholars, I still need my dose of Common Market. hope they'll find a way to get together and cook up something nice.

I feel really dumb for just really "getting into" common market at this point considering i've been a fan of blue scholars for years and have known about these dudes for a while, but never really gave their music a real listen. Trinity is honestly one of the best songs i've ever heard

Man i love Common Market's music. Songs like Tobacco road, Connect for and The Crucible cheer me up big time. It's a shame they kind of broke up since RA Scion moved to NY... I hope him and Sabzi will make more music one day.

groups like this are why I laugh when people claim Eminem is greatest rapper of all time.... [3]

Common Market and Blue Scholars are both ill and comparing them against one another diminishes both of their abilities.

There is good music and there is bad music and it doesn't matter whether it is mainstream or underground. And by the way, you can like him or not, but Eminem has skills and it is obvious, though calling him (or any other rapper) the greatest is bullshit.
