1. Kaizers Orchestra

First song:
Kontroll på kontinentet. I downloaded it off their website and forgot about it for a few months, occasionally putting it on and wondering if I really liked it.
I did. :)

Fell in love:
I really think it was a combination of their first album Ompa til du dør and seeing some clips of them live. Because they are the shit live.

Current favorite:
Off their new album I would say it's Knekker deg til sist or Dieter Meyers inst.

2. Muse
First song:
Dammit, I hate to say it was Time Is Running Out, but it was also ]track artist=Muse]Thoughts of a Dying Atheist[/track] that made me buy the album.

Fell in love:
I'm pretty sure it was the piano solo in Butterflies and Hurricanes.

Current favorite:
Off of Black Holes and Revelations, I think Map of the Problematique or City of Delusion.

3. Apocalyptica
First song:
Hmm...you know, I don't rightly remember. The first album was Cult, though.

Fell in love:
It had to be Hall of the Mountain King. So amazing.

Current favorite:
I'm quite partial to Fatal Error.

4. Robin Williams
First song:
He's not a singer, so I can't really say a song. But I first watched some of his stand up back in 1996/7.

Fell in love:
I've always loved him.

Current favorite:
Well, I like the golf bit in his Live on Broadway act.

5. Cake
First song:
The Distance.

Fell in love:
Heh, I'm sure it was Opera Singer, purely for the lyrics and how true they are!

Current favorite:
The Hem Of Your Garment

6. Cloroform
First song:
Broken, when I watched the music video. I was just amazed at Oyvind picking up the bass and playing like a guitar.

Fell in love:
Leggless Liss is an amazing song. I love their early stuff.

Current favorite:
iran, even if the title makes absolutely no sense. Like much else they do does ;).

7. Janove Ottesen
First song:
Go Tell Her was the first I'd heard solo by him, on the music video.

Fell in love:
Neighbor Boy made me buy the album, but I've been in love with Janove since I got into Kaizers Orchestra!

Current favorite:
Well, he doesn't have anything new out, but I must say that Black and White Movie is one of my favorites, along with the video for it.

8. E Nomine

First song:
Vater Unser was the first thing I heard by them, as recommended by a friend. It was amazing and cracked me up -- but made me feel strangely moved at the same time.

Fell in love:
I really think it was Die Posaunen von Jericho that made me love them.

Current favorite:
Eh, I haven't been listening to them lately.

9. Janus

First song:
I think it was Kafka, but in reality it was Hotel Eden on the "Radio Goethe" collection.

Fell in love:
Definitely Paula's Spiel, both versions. Gorgeous.

Current favorite:
The song Anita spielt Cello was sad and haunting even when I didn't know what the lyrics were.

10. Rammstein

First song:
Oh my, I'm sad to say it was Du hast. That is soooooo cliche!

Fell in love:
Probably the entire album Reise, Reise. I took a chance when I bought it, and loved it!

Current favorite:
Haha... Te Quiero Puta! is made of win and awesome.
