Apparently, when Cope played at Eric Clapton's Crossroads festival, Eric stood at the side of the stage the whole time he was playing and sang every single word. Later Eric Clapton brought him on during his set and played two Citizen Cope songs. He still needs more exposure and recognition. Put a Citizen Cope picture in your window, tell a friend about him, post some of his songs on your Facebook walls and so on.
