Am I the only one getting a Mission Impossible theme vibe from the bassline and the drumming in the beginning or am I just weird that way?

Yeah there are far worse bands than Tool to mimic. So it is the same style, but Cire goes in their own direction with their themes and lyrics (have yet to hear screaming like Maynard often does). This band is Tool "Lite" to me.

This is a really good song. I like the fact that it is easy to listen to. Quite a nice change since I've been listening to techno and screaming music lately.

Agreed, Eversinc. Nothing goes without the adaptation of the past. I really like this song. I only have 1 of their albums, Wholesale Buyout. It's prety good, I have to check out the album with this song on it.

we all steal elements of bands prior to the present... where would music be without plagarizing? Think of it, we all mimic the drums of the ancestors. and the grunts, notes, and song. imitation is the prime of flattery

Tool-esque but not quite. Not as intense and deep as Tool which can be a good thing cuz sometimes Tool is more than I can handle, ya know? Sometimes I wanna rock out but not necessarily go on a head trip to the other side.

Yet to hear a song I didn't like. As far as "Tool" alternatives go, even Tool drew elements from other bands. I like him; yeah they remind me of tool, mostly due to the guy's voice, but it's still great music.
